Lead Anchor Robin Michele Meade of CNN’s Morning show "Morning Express with Robin Meade" was born on 21st April 1969, Ohio, USA. Besides being an accomplished anchor and reporter Robin Meade is a good singer. Meade sang "Alexander's Ragtime Band" at a campaign rally for President George Bush.

Robin Meade grew up at a place known as New London in Ohio where she did her shchooling from New London High School. She continued her education after shcooling and currently holds major degree in radio and television production. She has also studied political science as minor subject. Robin is alumni of Malone College and Ashland University. She was awarded Young Alumnus Award by Ashland University for her outstanding contribution in the field of News Broadcasting.

The 5' 3" Robin was Miss Ohio in 1992. Robin was among top 10 finalists during her participation in Miss America pageant. Robin Michele Meade married Tim Yeager in 1993. The couple is happily married since then.

As a responsible reporter Meade has covered the news of wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Robin took exclusive interview of American hostages who were freed from Fuerzas Armadas Revolutionaries de Colombia (FARC) captors. She presently works in CNN's world headquarters at Atlanta.

Meade is co-host with Dr. Sanjay Gupta at Accent Health a health and fitness program broadcasted by Turner Private Network’s, this program categorically focuses on health stories. Her anchoring abilities are widely appreciated by television viewers across America.

Besides CNN , Meade was associated with WMAQ-TV an affiliate of NBC Chicago. At WMAQ-TV she was the morning news anchor. Robin covered the Olympics held in 1996 and presented the special report on the Centennial Olympic Park bombing.

One of the widely remembered reports covered by Meade is 1995 collision of a train and a school bus in Fox River Grove, IL. The collision had killed 7 and injured more than 24 teenagers. For her efforts in covering this news, Meade won a regional Emmy Award. Meade also prepared a report on decreasing the chances of injury in a survivable plane crash, the report was applauded by many including critics and once again Robin Meade was nominated for a regional Emmy. In October 2005, Meade had the privilege of joining Ohio Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

In 2002, Meade got recognized as one of the top 20 most popular television news personalities in the News broadcast industry by Lycos. Meade was bestowed the responsibility of co-hosting the Midwest Emmy’s with MSNBC’s Lester Holt. This program was broadcasted in December 2004.

Robin Meade’s Curriculum Vitae also reflects her association with WCMH-TV Florida,WJW-TV Cleveland and WMFD-TV Mansfield she worked under various anchoring and reporting functions.

Robin Meade is currently located at Atlanta where she stays with her husband and Pet dogs.
